Trademark Salon is an award-winning, luxury hair salon located in Houston, Texas. Trademark Salon leads the industry in hair coloring, training, and alternative hair solutions like Natural Beaded Rows and Hair Skeens. Trademark Salon stands out as a top choice for hair care excellence.
THE PROBLEM
The business of Trademark Salon had been slowly growing over the last several years, however, the growth was tied to referrals which left growth unpredictable. With the addition of new products and services, Trademark Salon realized that it needed additional marketing support to drive awareness, increase visibility, and generate new customers.
The decision was made internally to invest in Search Engine Optimization to build brand awareness and reach a broader audience of people in the market to buy.
THE STRATEGY
Illumination Marketing came in and developed a comprehensive strategy to raise digital awareness and establish Trademark Salon as a topical authority within the market.
The first step of the plan was to create a topical map of keywords that would be important to generating phone calls, text messages, and form leads. Then, a content plan was developed to support the efforts to getting these keywords ranked on the first page.
The next phase of the strategy involved external link development, producing blog content specific to Local SEO, and a revision of the homepage to aid in boosting conversion rates.
THE RESULTS
The results in the first 6 months were powerful for the business. There was an immediate improvement in website metrics such as User Engagement, Duration of Visits, leads, text messages, and phone calls!
For phase two, we saw keywords that the website ranked for increased dramatically from 2,678 upon beginning the program to 24,786 only 6 months later. Over 750 calls were logged and over 500 text messages.
